Capture Your Competitor's Customers

As branch closings continue at high levels in the banking industry, Stellar Strategic Group now offers a new solution to market to consumers that bank at your competitor's locations.

Competitor Replay allows you to capture Device IDs at high value locations. In other words, you have the ability to capture a consumer's Device ID at events they attend, where they work, where they study, where they shop, where they bank - all with the ability to advertise to this high value audience.

This is done by using GeoFramingTM targeting technology. By mapping to small, precise locations, we can identify any devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) after they leave the targeted area, and continue to target them with digital banner ads at their home and across all of their devices. And, this is accomplished without the use of cookies.

With Competitor Replay, we can go back in time and capture devices from events or locations over the last 6 months. Competitor Replay then attributes a likely home address of those devices seen at the chosen event or location. From there, we are able to target that home network with digital banner ads using IP Targeting.

What's the difference between Geoframing and Geofencing?

Geoframing is different than Geofencing. Geofencing requires a hard opt-in. That usually requires the consumer to download a specific app and agree to the terms of service. Geofencing utilizes cell tower service or GPS to create the fence.

On the other hand, Geoframing focuses on the latitude and longitude of specific locations – down to the meter-squared level. This gives a more granular and precise look at a geographical location, cutting out the noise of those people who are just "driving" through your geo-area. The biggest difference between the two is that Geoframing relies on historical data, not live cell tower data.

Competitor Replay with Personalized Map Postcards

In addition to using the technology above, we recommend combining Competitor Replay with our personalized map postcards. Each postcard will map the consumer’s home address to your nearest location. We target closely around the branch to hit those most directly affected by the closing of that location.

Other Applications for Competitor Replay Technology

Our advanced geographic targeting ability has many other applications besides competitor locations. We also have access to digital new mover lists, which are much more real-time than traditional new mover mailing lists. Our system updates twice daily and connects advertisers to consumers in hours instead of weeks. We can specify between pre-movers, in-escrow, and post-movers.
